Blackmagic Design Capture cards are compatible with the following Windows based operating systems:

• Windows 7 64 bit
• Windows 8 64 bit

QuickTime

Apple QuickTime needs to be installed for some applications to function with a Blackmagic capture card. You can download the latest version of Apple QuickTime for Windows: QuickTime Download

CPU Requirements

In general, you should choose a CPU that meets or exceeds the system requirements of the software application you are planing on using.

PCIe Gen 1 slots are not compatible with PCIe Gen 2 cards, including DeckLink 4K Extreme.

Memory

Blackmagic Design recommends a minimum of 4GB of memory for all systems.

Graphics

For optimal performance, an accelerated graphics card is recommend for use with DeckLink, Multibridge and Intensity cards.

Storage

You will require hard drive storage with your Blackmagic card that can provide a data rate greater than that of the video compression you are using.
